Pitbull Terrier Mix
Featured Dog: Agnes
Dog Associate: Lauren Thompson
"I chose Agnes because she is a good hearted dog who loves anyone who is willing to pet her. She enjoys long walks and is easy on the leash. When you stop walking she will turn and look at you. Agnes is very outgoing and plays with any kind of toy. Since she is eager to please, she is easy to train. Human or dog she loves everybody and loves to lay in your lap." Lauren Thompson

"Squirrel is a very loving and calm dog. He is very smart and mild mannered. He loves to be petted and loved on. Squirrel is house trained and walks very well on the leash. He has no real hang-ups and is one of the best dogs I have worked with so far. This dog is very affectionate and starves for attention. He shows love to everyone." Trainer Shannon Skumonick
Squirrel is currently enrolled in our "New Leash on Life" basic obedience training program. He will be trained in basic obedience, house trained, and maybe some agility. Now all dogs that graduate from the New Leash on Life program will go to their new homes with a registration in the AKC Canine Partners program. The Canine Partners program enables mixed-breeds and purebreds "without papers" to enjoy AKC benefits and compete in AKC events, including agility and rally trials.
