"My name is Max and I am a Boxer mix. I am lovable, energetic, playful, and a happy dog wanting to adopt a family. I love to play, run, and catch cat-naps after I eat. I am very smart and willing to adapt to my surroundings. I get along well with all people as well as other dogs. I am leash trained, house-broken, I don't chew on things I am not supposed to, and do several tricks. I have a great aptitude to learn more. Most of all I am looking for a family to love as much as they love me." Trainers at Mountain View Correctional Ins.
Max just graduated from our "New Leash on Life" basic obedience training program. Now all dogs that graduate from the New Leash on Life program will go to their new homes with a registration in the AKC Canine Partners program. The Canine Partners program enables mixed-breeds and purebreds "without papers" to enjoy AKC benefits and compete in AKC events, including agility and rally trials.

"I chose Big Foot because under those big floppy ears and big brown eyes is a quiet and gentle giant. For the most part he loves to lounge in the sun and be loved on and love his calm nature. He loves to go for walks in the woods. One thing that Big Foot is so great with is how well he does with any and all other dogs. He is also wonderful to walk on a leash and playful. All in all this old man will be one of the most appreciative and loving companions a family could have." Lindsey Haun

Chevy loves the outdoors! He is a very mild tempered dog and does not bite. He is playful and can be very loving at times. Chevy loves squeaky toys and likes to bury bones and small toys! He would be a great friend for someone who likes the outdoors and long walks. Chevy just graduated today from the New Leash on Life basic obedience training program.

| Agnes||1 Year Old|
Pitbull Terrier Mix
Featured Dog: Agnes
Dog Associate: Lauren Thompson
"I chose Agnes because she is a good hearted dog who loves anyone who is willing to pet her. She enjoys long walks and is easy on the leash. When you stop walking she will turn and look at you. Agnes is very outgoing and plays with any kind of toy. Since she is eager to please, she is easy to train. Human or dog she loves everybody and loves to lay in your lap." Lauren Thompson
