Exquisite Diamond Necklace

This brand new, beautiful diamond necklace is stamped 750 Luca. It has a 16 inch curb link necklace with a lobster claw clasp fixed to the diamond center drop. The center diamond piece has a round section which the chain is attached to with a pear shaped drop suspended so that it moves. The round section has a center round diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds. The lower piece has an outer pear shaped piece with graduated diamonds and floating within that is a pear shaped piece. The center pear shaped piece has a pear shaped diamond with 12 small round diamonds surrounding it. There are a total of 47 round and 1 pear shaped diamonds. Raffle Rules

PROCEDURE

Ticket sales will commence at 10 AM on July 1, 2021.
Ticket sales will end at midnight on October 17, 2021.
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a raffle ticket and win a prize.
Avery Humane Society employees and/or board members are not eligible to purchase Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza tickets nor win prizes.
Each raffle ticket costs $100. For each raffle ticket sold, Avery Humane Society will give the ticketholder two (2) entries for the raffle drawing. Each entry will be identified with the ticketholder’s name and email confirmation number.
Individuals who do not have access to email may purchase their tickets at the Avery Humane Society shelter. They will be asked to provide their name and phone number. The Avery Humane Society’s email address will be used in these instances and the email confirmation will be printed and provided to the purchaser.
A ticketholder can win more than once either with the two chances on the raffle ticket or by purchasing additional raffle tickets.
If a ticket is drawn in one of the early bird drawings (six (6) total) or during the “September Surprise,” it will be eligible to be drawn again during other/future drawings. However, if a ticket is drawn for a grand prize, it may will be ineligible to be drawn again for any other grand prizes.
Avery Humane Society will not distribute any free or discounted tickets. There is, however, a Lucky Paws Bundle wherein purchasers can purchase five (5) tickets (ten (10) entries) for the price of four (4) ($400.00).
Tickets must be purchased online on the Avery Humane Society website – averyhumane.org. Ticketholders will receive a confirmation email. The email confirmation will serve as the purchaser’s raffle ticket. Tickets are not valid until the credit card has cleared.
Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Avery Humane Society shelter, but they will still be electronic tickets. Ticketholders will receive a confirmation email. The email confirmation will serve as the purchaser’s raffle ticket. Tickets are not valid until the credit card has cleared.
There is no limit on how many tickets may be purchased.
Unsold raffle tickets become the property of the Avery Humane Society.
Each raffle ticket must contain only one individual’s name. For example: “Mr. and Mrs. John Doe” is not acceptable since that represents two people. Only one person can claim the drawn prize associated with a winning ticket.
The Avery Humane Society Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza will have six (6) early bird prizes, one (1) “September Surprise,” and eleven (11) grand prizes.
Odds of winning a prize are based on number of tickets sold.
The raffle will be conducted by a”chance2win.org,” a third party company.
The Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza will host 6 early bird drawings on the following dates: July 10, July 17, July 24, August 14, August 21, and August 28. “Chance2win.org” will conduct the early bird drawings and the winners will be announced on the Avery Humane Society website – averyhumane.org.
The Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza will also conduct one more drawing in the month of September (the “September Surprise”) on a date that is yet to be determined, which will be announced on the Avery Humane Society website – averyhumane.org. “Chance2win.org” will conduct the drawing(s) and the winner(s) will be announced on the Avery Humane Society website – averyhumane.org.
The Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza grand prize drawings will take place on October 21, 2021 (unless postponed or cancelled in accordance with these rules). “Chance2win.org,” will send the names of the winners of the 11 grand prizes to be held in escrow by Avery Humane Society’s Attorneys pending the event on October 21, 2021. The winners will be announced at the event which will take place at the Avery Humane Society shelter on October 21, 2021 at 6 PM.

POLICIES

Avery Humane Society reserves the right to postpone the Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza for any reason. Should this occur, registered ticketholders who provide an email address will be notified by email, and a notice will be placed on the Avery Humane Society website – averyhumane.org
Avery Humane Society reserves the right to cancel the Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza for any reason including, but not limited to, insufficient ticket sales. If the Avery Humane Society Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza is cancelled, all ticketholders will receive a refund of the purchase price.
If the event is held, ALL listed prizes will be awarded. In the event that a listed prize is not available, a substitution of a like prize will be made.
Avery Humane Society reserves the right to cut off ticket sales at any time prior to the raffle drawings.
The winning list of names will be posted on the Avery Humane Society website and all winning names will be posted after the event.
Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified as to how and where to claim their prize, and are responsible for all expenses incurred in picking up their prize.
Only the ticketholder whose name is on a winning ticket may claim the applicable prize. Proper identification including proof of 18 years of age or older and a social security number are required by law to claim any prize.
Prize winners of non-cash prizes are responsible for all shipping expenses should they request the prize be shipped to them. International shipments may be subject to tariffs.
A check will be mailed to cash prize winners within 45 days of the event. Winners of non-cash prizes shall claim their prizes within thirty (30) days of the Event. If a Winner does not claim his/her prize within thirty (30) days of the Event, the prize shall be forfeited.

TAXES

Winners are responsible for all taxes, transfers, and fees which must be paid before receipt of the prize by the winner. Some prizes may require withholding of Federal taxes from the prize in accordance with IRS rules. All winning ticket holders for prizes valued at $600 or more must complete the necessary IRS Form W-9 in order to receive prize.
Purchase price may not be deducted as a charitable contribution. The IRS does not permit charitable deductions for games of chance.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Upon purchase of a ticket, ticketholder agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Email confirmation will serve as the purchaser’s raffle ticket. Possession of the email confirmation is not a requirement to win.
Tickets are not transferable or redeemable for cash (except as set forth above).
This ticket is a revocable license.
Avery Humane Society reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to remove from the event any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, theses terms and conditions, and all applicable laws.
No refunds or exchanges are permitted.
The Event is rain or shine; no refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
For purposes of promoting the raffle, ticketholders hereby authorize Avery Humane Society to use their name, their photographs, sound and/or videotapes of them, and other media in connection with the raffle without compensation to the ticketholder.
Rules may be amended at any time. All revisions will be posted on the Avery Humane Society website.
Ticketholders’ contact information will be added to the Avery Humane Society mailing list but will not be shared with others. Ticketholders may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.
The Event will be recorded.
All prizes are awarded to winners on an “AS-IS” and “as available” basis as provided to Avery Humane Society. Avery Humane Society makes no promises, warranties, or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and any such warranties are expressly disclaimed. Once a prize is claimed by the ticketholder, it is the property of the ticketholder and Avery Humane Society is not responsible for its condition, operation or the ticketholder’s satisfaction with it.
Avery Humane Society and its employees, agents, contractors, officers, directors and trustees shall NOT be liable in any way for any damages whatsoever, including any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or loss of profits to any ticketholder, participant or winner resulting from or arising out of the Avery Humane Society Avery Humane Society Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza.

Proceeds

Net proceeds from the Lucky Paws Raffle Extravaganza 2021 will support Avery Humane Society and our work to:

Care for animals by providing shelter, food, medical care, exercise, behavioral support and LOVE.
Save animals from situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment and help them heal.
Receive and care for stray animals and reunite lost animals with their families or find them a new forever family.
Provide safety and second chances to animals that would be euthanized at other shelters due to limited capacity.
Reduce the number of unwanted and vulnerable animals in our community through free or low cost spay and neuter services.
Provide adoption services to create forever families by connecting animals with people who will love and care for them and people whose lives will be much better with animal friends and family members!

Important facts about the shelter:

We have a 94% adoption rate-one of the highest in the state.
We never euthanize a healthy animal and animals stay with us until they are placed with a forever family.
We are the only organization in the county that offers services for homeless animals. At this time, Avery County government does not provide animal control services or funding for our shelter.
We rely solely on private donations, foundation grants and limited earned income to fund our work.

The mission of the Avery County Humane Society is to respond humanely to the needs of animals in Avery County by providing the following: shelter, food, exercise, and love; spay and neuter services; medical and behavioral care; adoption promotion and networking; community education and outreach; and special programs including New Leash on Life, which is a long-term partnership with the Mountain View Correctional Institution.
