Born 2 Play is a little soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. He can be unsure of himself, especially in new situations, so he needs someone who will give him the time and patience to find his confidence at his own pace. He may not be the kitten who curls up in your lap for hours or asks to be carried around. Instead, he enjoys gentle head scratches and quiet companionship—and when he’s ready for some space, he’ll make sure you know! Born 2 Play doesn’t need someone to change him. He just needs someone willing to understand him, give him time, and let their relationship grow naturally. Sometimes the sweetest bonds are the ones that take a little longer to build.
Gregory may be just a tiny kitten, but he already has a pretty special story. He was born right here at Avery Humane Society, and this little shelter has been the only world he has ever known. From his very first days, Gregory has grown up surrounded by the people who have cared for him, but now it’s time for his story to continue outside the shelter walls. At just two months old, Gregory is at that wonderful kitten age where everything is new and exciting. He has so much growing, learning, playing, and loving left to do—and we would love nothing more than to see him grow up knowing what it feels like to be someone’s very own kitten. He may have been born in a shelter, but he wasn't born to spend his life in one. Anakin is a handsome tabby boy with a heart full of love and a very sweet personality! He loves snuggling up with his brother, but he’s also more than happy to curl up in your arms and drift off to sleep. And if you start talking to him, don’t be surprised if Anakin talks right back! One of the cutest things about Anakin is how he tries to hold your hand with his little paw. When he’s ready for playtime, he enjoys chasing ball toys and playing with soft stuffed toys. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion who will keep you company, chat with you, and maybe even hold your hand, Anakin could be your perfect match!
