Uncle Sam is a handsome male Plott Hound mix who is always happy to see you! This sweet boy loves nothing more than getting right in your lap, soaking up some attention, and investigating everything you’re up to. He wants to be involved in ALL your business! The only tax Uncle Sam requires is pets and treats! Just be sure to remind him that not everything is edible, and he’ll happily settle in beside you—or better yet, right on top of you—for some quality cuddle time. Uncle Sam is a sweet, affectionate boy who would love to find someone he can call his own. Banner is a handsome male Plott Hound mix who is still getting used to shelter life. He can be a little nervous and prefers having some space while he learns that he is safe and surrounded by people who care about him. Our staff have been patiently earning his trust by sitting nearby and, of course, offering some tasty treats! Although Banner may be shy at first, there’s a sweet little boy underneath that nervousness. When new people come around, he’ll wag his tail and give you the cutest smile—even if he isn’t quite ready to come over and say hello just yet. Banner doesn’t need someone to rush him. He needs someone who will be patient, understanding, and willing to let him build confidence at his own pace. We know there is a loving, happy boy waiting to shine once he feels safe.
