Banner is a handsome male Plott Hound mix who is still getting used to shelter life. He can be a little nervous and prefers having some space while he learns that he is safe and surrounded by people who care about him. Our staff have been patiently earning his trust by sitting nearby and, of course, offering some tasty treats! Although Banner may be shy at first, there’s a sweet little boy underneath that nervousness. When new people come around, he’ll wag his tail and give you the cutest smile—even if he isn’t quite ready to come over and say hello just yet. Banner doesn’t need someone to rush him. He needs someone who will be patient, understanding, and willing to let him build confidence at his own pace. We know there is a loving, happy boy waiting to shine once he feels safe.
